William Robert Black (November 20, 1936-April 11, 2024
Passed at Southlake Regional Health Centre after a difficult fight against congestive heart failure. He is survived by Barb, his wife of 42 years, and children Richard (Joan), Dianne Black (John), Debra Hole (Martin), Jim (Fiona), Cathy Black (Heather) and Darcie Rogers (Mike), 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Bill has had a wonderful life, filled with interesting adventures and jobs including Navy Clearance Diver, underwater high pressure pipe fitter, police officer, retail business owner, SCUBA instructor, paralegal and marina worker to name just a few. One of his greatest pleasures in life was to be in or on the water. He will be greatly missed.
